Who I am
I am Dr. Tanya Montañez, a Clinical Psychologist with over five years of post-graduate experience supporting diverse adults through life’s most complex emotional and relational challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with veterans, aviation professionals, Latin/Hispanic communities, women, and survivors of sexual trauma, among many others. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing therapy that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and deeply attuned to each person’s lived experience.
My work is grounded in a multicultural, holistic, integrative, and trauma-informed approach. I draw on evidence-based interventions while honoring the full context of who you are—your identity, strengths, values, and personal history. I also hold special interests in the intersections of religion, identity, and sexual well-being, and strive to create a therapeutic environment where these topics can be explored with openness and respect.
Ultimately, I am here to walk alongside you with warmth, authenticity, and clinical expertise as you move toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change.
